Hazelbury Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational teacher to become part of our team. Our good school, as rated by Ofsted, ensures the best outcomes for all children. We are innovative with our teaching approach and have embedded a ‘no marking’ feedback for learning policy, which enables teachers to give valuable feedback on progress whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance!

We understand how important it is for staff and children to have access to modern technology, which is why we are a resourced Apple school - all members of staff are provided with the latest Ipads, and teachers are also provided with the latest Macbooks. Children are engaged with a creative curriculum that makes use of our performing arts studio, music zone, creative hub and podcast studio. Our own on-site sports coaches provide our children with quality sport provision and fantastic extra-curricular opportunities. With a farm, pond, orchard, Edible playground and outdoor children’s gym on site, we are able to provide the children with creative outdoor experiences. We also have our very own minibuses, which all staff has the opportunity to be trained to drive.

Our ethos encourages a learning journey that invites children to be great citizens of the future. Our pupil voice is strong and we have embedded values that ensure resilience and independence. Children are encouraged to have a growth mind-set and we have a focus on mindfulness for both children and staff across the school. We are part of the ELT Partnership, a partnership of successful primary schools in Enfield.

As part of the ELT Partnership we are strongly committed to providing high quality professional development and career progression for all staff. We are constantly reviewing our practices to ensure that our staff can focus on what matters: providing a rich environment in which children can learn and thrive. We are able to offer significant opportunities to work in collaboration with colleagues at Hazelbury and across the Trust. At Hazelbury, staff are able to be involved with developments within the curriculum in areas that interest them. We encourage expertise and a staff that supports one another to develop their own practice.

The well-being of our staff is of paramount importance and we promote a healthy work-life balance. We provide staff with well-being days, an attendance reward scheme, as well as giving all employees access to a support hub. Hazelbury has its own staff gym on site as well as a staff daycare facility.
