Our Hazelbury Art Attack!
We started the year with creativity and the whole school took part in art attack. The children studied artists and techniques, which helped them to create their own masterpieces!
Nicholas (Zambezi, Yr2) said, “I liked creating the dark silhouette of a London landmark for my foreground in Starry Night. I really enjoyed art attack week!”
Ece (O’Keeffe, Yr6) also commented, “It was fun painting in a style that I've never practiced before - using acrylic paint with spatulas. It was really tricky but at the end I was really proud of my work and now it is even on display in the Year 6 corridor!"
